Learn With Jenza’s Tricks Class Featured on Fox News

DognitionBlogpost 07.28.2013

Learn with Jenza was recently hand selected by local Fox News anchor, Cynthia Smoot, to review Dognition, a new science-based canine personality analysis website. The story would be the first time in the Tampa Bay area Dognition was featured by the media and Learn with Jenza’s Dog Tricks Class instructor, Kim Lewis, and her two dogs, Briscoe and Gibson, were paws-itively happy to help out. The story required Lewis to complete a short questionnaire followed by 12 different games, each of which boast to reveal insight on how her dogs reason, learn and communicate. At the completion of the games a full cognitive profile was revealed.

For the news story, Briscoe and Gibson performed a variety of tricks, including many of the tricks that are taught at the Learn with Jenza Dog Tricks Class.See the full news story here:

Click here for more information on Learn with Jenza’s Dog Tricks Class to find out how you can teach your dog over 20 different tricks, earn the Novice Trick Dog (NTD) Title and have a fun time doing so with your furry best friend.

Tricks Class, More Than Just “Sit”

Beyond “Sit”

Reasons why I love teaching my dogs:

Training can be fun!  Dogs are very fun motivated and trick training meets that need.

Real laughs are heard during our Pet Therapy hospital visits when Briscoe shows off his tricks.

Involves all family members!

Can win prizes & cash.  (Briscoe once won $50 at a tricks contest!)

Keeps variety in dog training.

Stimulates dogs mentally which has multiple health benefits and is tiring.

Dogs of all sizes and ages can learn new tricks.  Teaching tricks is truly training and allows owners to see how their dogs learn which can carry-over into so many other daily activities.  My favorite time to show off my dogs tricks is during our visits to the VA Hospital for our pet therapy visits.  I love seeing the patients and staff smile.  Join the Learn with Jenza team and promote the ultimate owner-dog bond with a tricks class!
